Meet Dr. York

Dr. Carrie K. York is a native of Seattle, has achieved various scholastic and professional accomplishments, and continues to learn and improve in dentistry techniques and patient care.

Dr. York graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1991, and then furthered her education by completing a one-year General Practice Residency, rotating through four Seattle hospitals. After her residency, she practiced in Seattle from 1992 to 2003, most of those years on First Hill in Seattle. Then, in 2003, she joined her former dentist, Dr. Rebecca Zerngast, to practice on Mercer Island.

Dr. York continues to teach at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, in the dental clinics where third- and fourth-year students care for patients. Dr. York has been teaching since she was a senior in dental school, except for a several-year break when her twins were in elementary school.

Dr. York is involved in her local community, and has boy/girl twins who are 14 years old now. She enjoys Husky football, dining out, Washington wines and traveling.
